Interwicket
golyguYou're right - it's very annoying!! I'm not sure how to do it myself (as I'm not particularly technical) but I'll leave a message in the main cy Wicipedia to see if anybody else could sort it out. Pwyll 17:07, 8 Mehefin 2010 (UTC)
Nog niet uitgereisd?
golyguNew English help page
golyguCould I draw your attention to the new help page Cymorth:Prif dudalen/English which can be accessed through the Welsh help page? I thought it might be useful for people who don't speak Welsh but would like to contribute. It's very basic and simple but maybe in time, other volunteers from other langauge could translate it into their languages too.
Could you have a look at it and if you've got any suggestions for improvement, just let me know. Cheers, Pwyll 10:19, 27 Awst 2010 (UTC)

Euro
golyguHi there and a belated happy new year to you too! Apologies for the delays getting back to you - real life has been far too hectic! Anyway, in Welsh the currency euro would be iwro or ewro. On the other hand, the Welsh verb euro comes from the Welsh word for "gold", aur, which originally came from the Latin aurum. The suffix -o at the end is very common in Welsh verbs e.e. nofio (to swim), cofio (to remember), rhofio (to shovel) etc. Hope this sheds some light on the matter for you. Pwyll (sgwrs) 20:49, 26 Ionawr 2014 (UTC)
- Also, whilst I remember, "Euros" is also a Welsh man's name (pronounced "Ay" as in Day + "Ross". It always amuses me when English people pronounce it as Euros, the currency! Pwyll (sgwrs) 20:53, 26 Ionawr 2014 (UTC)
